What a wonderful effort!
Andy and Jen MacDonald have given over their home to sixty six dogs, while
awaiting the completion of the kennels under construction on their adjacent property

These are former street
dogs or those unceremoniously left at the doorstep, being prepped for adoption.

All the dogs are happy and very social - we saw no aggression or defensiveness the entire time during our visit
Far
from being a concrete compound, the environment was very humane - dogs
playing and socializing among the foliage, not baking in direct sun or
under intense heat
While her knees are dislocated and would require an expensive surgery, she's content and comfortable in her crate...

The shelter will ultimately house a amximum of around 120 dogs upon completion - construction is well underway...
'Patches' is a newcomer, and still putting on weight - but doing very well...

The emphasis is on adoption - these little guys will likely know loving homes, as soon as they're able...
NACER has paid for the entire group currently in residence to be spayed and neutered.
We are commited to seeing this worthy effort succeed, and support the MacDonalds with all our hearts, in this much-needed endeavor.
As well as funding for sterilization, we are also commited to providing medications and supplies.
We will provide them with our surgical tables, lights and IV stands for use in the clinic area projected as part of the future plan for the shelter.
We have also provided access to our voucher fund, in the event of need for critical care.
